Review: It's Skin Power 10 Formula VC Effector Serum

7/28/2017

Hello, dolls! Today I'll be reviewing this serum from It's Skin, the Power 10 Formula VC Effector. I've always wanted to include serum in my skincare routine and been dying to try this particular serum since I've heard so much good stuff about it. About a month ago, I've finally gave in and purchase this product from Althea - Korea!

What's this VC Effector claims to do? It lightens dark spots and brightens your skin's complexion all while feeling lightweight, non-greasy, and comfortable to the skin.

The serum comes in a small plastic bottle (with about 30mL of the actual product) with a dropper for hygienic purposes.

It has a very citrus-y smell which I love because it helps perk up the mood and help you feel relaxed. The consistency of this serum is slightly thick but lightweight, but still easily absorbed by the skin. After application, you can actually feel that your skin becomes more supple and feeling fresh.

Using this for almost a month now, I've noticed that some of my blemishes and dark spots started lightening and my complexion becomes healthier. My skin also appears smoother compared to before. Since this is a Vitamin C infused serum, I've only included this in my nighttime skin care routine.

P R O S :
  • It brightens and clears the skin from blemishes and other imperfections.
  • Doesn't make the skin greasy.
  • Easily absorbed.
  • Refreshes and relaxes the skin.

C O N S :
  • Not locally available.

I'd definitely repurchase this product but I'll probably get the one in a bigger sized bottle to at least save some money. What I love about this product is its effectivity and how it makes my skin glow. I rarely wear any base make-up now aside from concealer (which I use under my eyes lol). Korean skin care is truly a game changer--they are effective and you can actually notice real results as long as you are consistent with your routine. I am recommending this product if you wanted to clear your skin!

Do you include serum in your skin care routine? What's your favorite brand? :)

  1. I also got one of their serums on my last Althea Haul. The green one, for oily skin naman. And I agree, sobrang noticeable ng effects once naabsorb na nung skin!
